This coffee chain from Oregon is opening more locations in the Kansas City area

Oregon-based Dutch Bros Coffee continues to expand in the Kansas City market.

The chain offers coffee drinks including mocha, cold brews and its Dutch Freeze (a blended espresso), along with its Dutch Frost shakes (in a variety of flavors including cotton candy, crème de menthe and white chocolate, banana cream pie, banana split and German chocolate).

It also has Dutch Soda (flavor-infused sparkling water) in such flavors as watermelon, lime and blue raspberry, and bubble gum. Other menu items include its Rebel energy drinks, teas, smoothies, lemonades, pastries and granola bars.

New locations

15170 S. Mahaffie St., Olathe, for spring.

16400 W. U.S. 40 highway, Blue Springs, later this year.

Metro North Crossing, 350 N.W. Barry Road for a mid-2024 opening.

Previously announced locations

Three locations are scheduled to open this spring:

18181 W. 101st St., Lenexa.

11220 S. Lone Elm Road, Olathe.

14075 W. 135th St., Olathe.

Area locations that have opened are in Belton, Independence, Lee’s Summit, Shawnee, and the Legends Outlets Kansas City in Kansas City, Kansas.

Dutch Bros Coffee was founded in 1992 by two brothers, third generation dairy farmers.
