Kansas City area health code violations: Conroy’s, Aloha Chopstix, American Slang, more

Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links to the reports are not available).

Conroy’s Public House, 5285 W. 95th St., Overland Park, had 15 priority violations during a Jan. 31 routine inspection.

Aloha Chopstix, 4316 Rainbow Blvd., Kansas City, Kansas, had 10 priority violations during a Feb. 1 routine inspection.

Sharks Restaurant & Bar, 10320 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Shawnee, had 10 priority violations during a Feb. 7 routine inspection.

Tacos El Tio, 78 N. 10th St., Kansas City, Kansas, had 10 priority violations during a Feb. 2 routine inspection.

Cinzetti’s, 7201 W. 91st St., Overland Park, had nine priority violations during a Feb. 6 routine inspection.

KC Thai, 12250 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Feb. 6 follow-up inspection.

The Kansas City Health Department cited these operations for seven or more critical violations:

Express Stop, deli, 3500 Independence Ave., had 17 critical violations during a Feb. 1 routine inspection.

Aladdin Cafe, 3903 Wyoming St., had eight critical violations during a Feb. 1 routine inspection.

American Slang Modern Brasserie, Intercontinental Kansas City at the Plaza, 401 Ward Parkway, had eight critical violations during a Feb. 2 routine inspection. The hotel’s banquet kitchen had seven critical violations during a Feb. 2 routine inspection.

Boho Sway at Canary, 3835 Main St., had seven critical violations during a Feb. 3 routine inspection.

Prime Sushi, 4980 Main St., had seven critical violations during a Feb. 3 routine inspection.
