Kansas City area health code violations: Chosun Korean BBQ, Micheladas Culiacan, more

Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links to the reports are not available).

Chosun Korean BBQ,12611 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, had eight priority violations during a Dec. 8 routine inspection.

Micheladas Culiacan, 1618 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had eight priority violations during a Dec. 12 routine inspection.

Ali Baba International Foods, 10458 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 6 routine inspection.

Blind Box BBQ, 13214 W. 62nd Terrace, Shawnee, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 8 routine inspection.

Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse, 12080 S. Strang Line Road, Olathe, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 12 routine inspection.
