Kansas City area health code violations: Las Islas, Chili’s, Dunkin’, Rudy’s, more
Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links to the reports are not available).
▪ Las Islas VIP Sports Bar, 4929 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had 17 priority violations during a Nov. 30 routine inspection.
▪ El Sabor de Michoacan, 356 N. 10th St., Kansas City, Kansas, had 16 priority violations during a Nov. 22 routine inspection.
▪ Chili’s Grill & Bar, Legends Outlets Kansas City, 1710 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had 10 priority violations during a Nov. 28 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Bob Evans, Legends Outlets Kansas City, 1704 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had nine priority violations during a Nov. 23 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Taqueria Jalisco, 1259 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had nine priority violations during a Nov. 29 routine inspection.
▪ Dunkin donuts, 7446 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, had eight priority violations during a Nov. 30 routine inspection.
▪ Kanza Mediterranean Market, 116 N. Clairborne Road, Olathe, had seven priority violations during a Nov. 28 routine inspection.
▪ McGuire’s Tavern, 9148 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Nov. 28 routine inspection.
▪ Rudy’s Tenampa Taqueria, 8710 Lackman Road, Lenexa, had seven priority violations during a Nov. 30 inspection following a complaint.
▪ The Shack, 7218 College Blvd., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Nov. 30 routine inspection.
