Kansas City area health code violations: RayLee’s BBQ, Another Broken Egg Cafe, more
Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links to the reports are not available).
▪ RayLee’s Bar-B-Que & Soul Food, 1930 N. 77th St., Kansas City, Kansas, had 14 priority violations during a Nov. 15 first operational inspection after licensing.
▪ Another Broken Egg Cafe, 13386 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, had 13 priority violations during a Nov. 14 routine inspection.
▪ Taqueria El Poblano & Mini Market, 1003 Osage Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had 11 priority violations during a Nov. 15 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Dos Reales Authentic Mexican Restaurant, 6453 Quivira Road, Shawnee, had 10 priority violations during a Nov. 21 follow-up inspection.
▪ The Big Biscuit, 8520 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had nine priority violations during a Nov. 10 routine inspection.
▪ KC’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill, 10201 W. 47th St., Merriam, had nine priority violations during a Nov. 17 routine inspection.
▪ Knub’s Pub, 5386 Roberts St., Shawnee, had eight priority violations during a Nov. 10 routine inspection.
▪ Elevate Bar and Grill, 7543 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a Nov. 17 routine inspection.
