Leawood’s holiday pop-ups, Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse opens in Overland Park
▪ Leftover Luxuries, a high-end pop-up consignment store, will open in Leawood.
Leftover Luxuries will take a space in Town Center Plaza, 4853 W. 117th St., (the former Restoration Hardware). The event, which will run from Nov. 14 to Nov. 23, will specialize in home furniture and decorative accessories, but it also will offer new and barely used designer clothing, handbags and shoes.
Julie Goldsborough, local partner, provides the space, staffing, merchandising, advertising and promotional materials to draw consumers. Consignees price their own items and walk away with 55 percent of the sale price.
Leftover Luxuries is looking for residents, merchants, artisans, antique dealers, interior designers, home stagers and others who might want to consign items. But a Leftover Luxuries agent must approve the items to keep the quality level high, Goldsborough said. Consignors also get first dibs on the items during a pre-opening reception on Nov. 13.
Leftover Luxuries was founded in 2009 and opens pop-ups in different markets throughout the year.

More than 50 local artists and businesses will participate in the event from Nov. 13 to Nov. 16 at 4419 W. 119th St. (in the former Love Culture space).
Overland Park’s Just for Her Expo Inc. is the parent-company of Chick Events.
▪ Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse is now open in Corbin Park, 6401 W. 135th St., Suite A, Overland Park. The chain store sells fashion-forward footwear for the family at discounted prices.
