After nearly seven years in Brookside, Savory Spice Shop is relocating to the Crossroads.

The Denver-based chain sells high-quality, fresh-ground spices, handcrafted seasonings, and soup and dip mixes.

It took part of the former James Hallmark Shop space at 6245 Brookside Blvd. for an August 2015 opening. It closed there earlier this month.

It plans to reopen at 323 Southwest Blvd. — near Lulu’s Thai Noodle Shop — in early-to-mid April. The manager said the lease expired and they needed more room. The Brookside spot was 950-square-feet, and the new location will be 1,200 square feet.

The company offers more than 500 products, including cubed crystallized ginger, peppermint vanilla bean sugar, red enchilada seasoning, hazelnut extract, honey sumac hummus dip and spread, sun-dried minestrone soup mix, taco seasoning and black garlic salt.

The Crossroads shop also will have the new Boulevard Birria Blend, a chile-based seasoning for beef, lamb or pork roasts — its “love letter to the vibrant Latin-American food and culture on historic Southwest Boulevard.”
