More than a decade after opening in south Kansas City, Martin City Brewing Co. continues to expand.

Martin City @Lenexa, at 8802 Renner Blvd. in Lenexa, is scheduled to open in May.

A new sister concept, Station 7, is scheduled to open in late March, at 9418 S. Missouri 7, near Lake Lotawana.

Starting at 6 a.m., Station 7 will offer coffee, pastries and other breakfast items.

Then for lunch and dinner, customers can get the Martin City Brewing menu of pizza, sandwiches, salads and craft beer, said Matt Moore, a founder of Martin City Brewing, who is partnering with Brad Stonner in Station 7.

“I live near there and really like that corner. It was an old gas station and I kept talking to the owner and we reached a deal,” Moore said. “Nothing is still there but the cinder block walls, and we added to it.”

It will have a drive-thru, and a large outdoor area with a stage for live music, a shipping container bar, picnic tables and more.

Station 7’s coffee is by All the Love Roasting Co. in Martin City, which Moore and his wife, Kara, founded six months ago.

In 2010, Matt Moore and Chancie Adams opened Martin City Brewing Co. in south Kansas City. In 2018, they expanded, opening Martin City @Mission Farms in Overland Park, and a year later they added Martin City @Blue Parkway in Lee’s Summit.
