Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links are not available).
▪ Caffetteria Modern Cafe + Marketplace, The Shops of Prairie Village, 71st Street and Mission Road, Prairie Village, had 13 priority violations during a Nov. 15 routine inspection.
▪ Jose Pepper’s Border Grill & Cantina, 6870 Johnson Drive, Mission, had 10 priority violations during a Nov. 10 routine inspection.
▪ Blind Box BBQ, at Nebraska Furniture Mart, 1601 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had nine priority violations during a Nov. 9 routine inspection.
▪ Pegah’s Family Restaurant, 8701 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Merriam, had nine priority violations during a Nov. 9 follow-up inspection.
▪ Biggs BBQ, 2429 Iowa St., Lawrence, had eight priority violations during a Nov. 15 verification inspection.
▪ Cosentino’s Market, 8051 W. 160th St., Overland Park, had eight priority violations during a Nov. 10 routine inspection.
▪ Fuel Expresso, 29550 W. 191st St., Gardner, had seven priority violations during a Nov. 10 follow-up inspection.
▪ Garozzo’s Ristorante, 9950 College Blvd., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Nov. 8 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Pan-Asia Market, 11940 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, seven priority violations during a Nov. 9 routine inspection.
