Kansas City area health code violations: King’s Table, Sushi Karma, ABC Cafe, more
Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links are not available).
▪ KC’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill, 10201 W. 47th St., Merriam, had 12 priority violations during a Sept. 23 routine inspection.
▪ Sushi Karma Asian Bistro + Bar, 5820 Johnson Drive, Mission, had 12 priority violations during a Sept. 22 inspection for an expired license.
▪ ABC Cafe, 10001 W. 87th St., Overland Park, had 10 priority violations during a Sept. 23 inspection following a complaint.
▪ La Hacienda San Gabriel, 126 S. Clairborne Road, Olathe, had eight priority violations during a Sept. 25 first operational inspection after licensing.
▪ Lin’s Chinese Restaurant, 13034 Kansas Ave., Bonner Springs, had eight priority violations during a Sept. 22 routine inspection.
▪ Tacos Juanita’s, 748 Washington Blvd., Kansas City, Kansas, had eight priority violations during a Sept. 21 first operational inspection after licensing.

▪ King’s Table Soul Food Restaurant, 5932 Prospect Ave., had 12 critical violations during a Sept. 11 routine inspection. It had seven critical violations during a Sept. 22 follow-up inspection.
▪ Domino’s Pizza, 4201 Blue Parkway, had nine critical violations during a Sept. 11 routine inspection. It had two critical violations during a Sept. 21 follow-up inspection.
▪ Mediterranean Market, deli, 1404 Westport Road, had nine critical violations during a Sept. 16 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a Sept. 22 follow-up inspection.
▪ KC Burgers, 2300 E. 12th St., had eight critical violations during a Sept. 16 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a Sept. 22 follow-up inspection.
