Twin Peaks restaurant and bar plans a Kansas City location, its third in the metro
Twin Peaks has picked a site for its third area location.
The Texas-based restaurant chain wants to open in the former Houlihan’s space at 8660 N. Boardwalk Ave. Officials with the Shops at Boardwalk confirmed that Twin Peaks will be a tenant.
But the local franchisee said they are still working through the “lease and licensing.”
Twin Peaks has a mountain lodge theme, draft beers, and “friendly and attractive Twin Peaks Girls surrounded by scenic views and the latest in high-definition TVs,” according to its website.
The menu has made-from-scratch items such as wings, soups and salads, sandwiches, tacos, smoked chicken, chargrilled salmon, chicken fried steak or chicken, steak and pot roast.
Twin Peaks was founded in 2005 in a Dallas suburb and now has 83 locations in 25 states. Area locations are in Independence and Olathe.
Houlihan’s opened in the Shops at Boardwalk in 2005. It closed in August 2018.
