Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links are not available).
▪ Toni’s Italian Restaurant, 1808 E. Santa Fe St., Olathe, had 10 priority violations during a July 14 routine inspection.
▪ Black Stag Brewery & Pub, 623 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, had eight priority violations during a July 13 routine inspection.
▪ Las Palmas Restaurant, 825 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had eight priority violations during a July 12 routine inspection.
▪ McAlister’s Deli, 11330 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Shawnee, had eight priority violations during a July 14 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Mi Pueblito Meat Market, 7426 Quivira Road, Shawnee, had seven priority violations during a July 19 routine inspection.

▪ Jose Cuervo’s Tequileria, Terminal B, Kansas City International Airport, had 10 critical violations during a July 12 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a July 16 follow-up inspection.
▪ El Pulgarcito Express, 1124 Oak St., had seven critical violations during a July 12 routine inspection.
▪ Sol Cantina, 408 E. 31st St., had seven critical violations during a July 10 routine inspection.
