Multiple health code violations in KC area: Never on Sunday, Maru Sushi and more
Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas City Health Department cited these operations for seven or more critical health code violations:
▪ Never on Sunday Greek Restaurant, 9932 Holmes Road, had 11 critical violations during an April 26 routine inspection.
▪ New Peking Chinese Restaurant, 540 Westport Road, had eight critical violations during an April 29 routine inspection.
▪ Genghis Khan Mongolian Grill, 3906 Bell St., had seven critical violations during an April 30 routine inspection.

▪ Maru Sushi & Grill, Prairiefire, 5621 W. 135th St., Suite 2620, Overland Park, had nine priority violations during an April 29 routine inspection.
▪ Price Chopper, Market Square, 13351 Mission Road, Leawood, had nine priority violations during an April 28 routine inspection.
▪ Roni’s Pub + Kitchen, 7955 E. Frontage Road, Overland Park, had nine priority violations during a May 3 routine inspection.
▪ Hen House Market, Blackbob Marketplace, 13600 S. Blackbob Road, Olathe, had eight priority violations during a May 3 routine inspection.
▪ Sushi House, Town Center Plaza, 5041 W. 117th St., Leawood, had seven priority violations during an April 27 routine inspection.
▪ Crimson & Brews, 925 Iowa St. Suite Q, Lawrence, had seven priority violations during an April 30 routine inspection.
▪ El Toro Loco Mexican Bar & Grill, Legends Outlets Kansas City, 1706 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a May 3 follow-up inspection.
