Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links are not available).
▪ McLain’s Market, 5833 Nieman Road, Shawnee, had 13 priority violations during an April 9 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Iron Horse America’s Bar & Grill, 5317 W. 151st St., Leawood, had nine priority violations during an April 7 routine inspection.
▪ Fuel Expresso, 29550 W. 191st St., Gardner, had eight priority violations during an April 8 routine inspection.
▪ Casey’s General Store, 18315 S. Gardner Road, Gardner, had seven priority violations during an April 8 routine inspection.
▪ Culver’s, 8600 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during an April 12 routine inspection.

The Kansas City Health Department cited these operations for seven or more critical health code violations:
▪ Aladdin Cafe, 3903 Wyoming St., had 11 critical violations during an April 6 routine inspection.
▪ Wings Cafe, 3927 Broadway Blvd., had 10 critical violations during an April 6 routine inspection. It had two critical violations during an April 12 follow-up inspection.
▪ Jim’s Diner, 6901 Prospect Ave., had nine critical violations during an April 6 routine inspection.
▪ Kona Grill, Country Club Plaza, 444 Ward Parkway, had eight critical violations during an April 7 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during an April 12 follow-up inspection.
▪ Krispy Krunchy Chicken, 1900 Independence Ave., had eight critical violations during an April 6 routine inspection.
▪ BRGR Kitchen + Bar, Power & Light District, 11 E. 14th St., had seven critical violations during an April 6 routine inspection.
▪ Elvira’s Original Cakes, bakery/deli, 3838 Independence Ave., had seven critical violations during an April 5 routine inspection.
▪ Starbucks, Hilton Kansas City Airport hotel, 8801 N.W. 112th St., had seven critical violations during an April 9 routine inspection.
