Multiple health code violations: Kansas City Jamdown Kitchen, JoCo McKeever’s, more
Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas City Health Department cited these operations for seven or more critical health code violations:
▪ Jamdown Kitchen, 6836 Prospect Ave., had 11 critical violations during a March 18 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a March 22 follow-up inspection.
▪ Chick-In Waffle, 429 to 431 Westport Road, had nine critical violations during a March 19 routine inspection.

▪ McKeever’s Market & Eatery, 8800 Maurer Court, Lenexa, had nine priority violations during a March 16 routine inspection.
▪ The Brewtop Pub & Patio, Corbin Park, 6601 W. 135th St., Suite A1, Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a March 16 routine inspection.
▪ China Buffet Mongolian BBQ, 2030 E. Santa Fe St., Olathe, had seven priority violations during a March 22 routine inspection.
▪ On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, Oak Park Mall, 11855 W. 95th St., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a March 18 inspection following a complaint.
