Restaurant inspections back on track: Reports include downtown grocery, tacos and wings
The Kansas City Health Department conducted complaint checks and re-inspections on food establishments, but not routine inspections, during the COVID-19 shelter-in-place order.
Now they are back to routine inspections. Here are inspections compiled for June 9.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter.
If an inspection or follow-up report needs clarification, restaurant owners can call Joyce Smith at 816-234-4692 or email her at jsmith@kcstar.com. The Star will post appropriate responses online.
