St. Louis breakfast and lunch chain with ‘boozie shakes’ adding third JoCo restaurant
St. Louis-based Shack Breakfast & Lunch, with two locations in Overland Park, is now adding a Lenexa restaurant.
The new location, at 9329 Harbinger St., is scheduled to open in late March. The 5,500-square-foot space will seat about 150 customers. It also will have a bar and patio.
The Shack entered the market in mid-2018 with its first Overland Park location.
Breakfast is served all day and includes omelets such as the Downstream is too Mainstream (with avocado, smoked salmon and feta cheese), skillets, country fried steak, the Starchy & Cluck (fried chicken breast with honey maple glaze on waffles with a chipotle aioli drizzle served with two eggs and hash browns), and breakfast tacos.
Lunch is offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes chili, turkey avocado wraps, baja tacos, short rib dip, veggie quesadillas and Reuben sandwiches. It also has gluten-free items, wine, beer, signature cocktails and “Boozie Shakes.”
Hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
It will have a hiring fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 2 to March 6 at 7940 W. 135th St. in Overland Park.
