Frozen yogurt dessert chain will open its first Kansas location in Legends Outlets

Five years after opening in the Legends Outlets, Sweetfrog premium frozen yogurt has closed.

But frozen dessert competitor Yogurtini is set to take its place. The chain plans an early spring 2020 opening in the 1,588-square-foot space at 1829 Village West Parkway, Suite T-131, Kansas City, Kansas.

Officials with Yogurtini and Sweetfrog could not be reached for comment. Officials with Legends Outlets confirmed the tenant change.

The self-serve shop’s menu offers up to 16 rotating frozen yogurt flavors, including cheesecake, peanut butter, mint cookie, eggnog, Georgia peach, Hawaiian pineapple, cotton candy, Chocoholic, and root beer float. For those customers with dietary restrictions, the chain has such options as nonfat, low-fat, gluten-free, dairy-free and no-sugar.

Yogurtini has area locations in Blue Springs, Independence, south of the Country Club Plaza and the Northland.
