Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links are not available).
▪ Danny’s Bar & Grill, 10940 Parallel Parkway, Suite Q, Kansas City, Kan., had 14 priority violations during an Oct. 23 standardization inspection.
▪ Stix Hibachi Sushi Asian, Legends Outlets, 1847 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., had 14 priority violations during an Oct. 22 standardization inspection.
▪ McDonald’s, 16210 W. 65th St., Shawnee, had 12 priority violations during an Oct. 22 standardization inspection.
▪ Jack in the Box, 10630 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., had 10 priority violations during an Oct. 23 standardization inspection.
▪ Quinton’s Bar & Deli, 615 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, had nine priority violations during an Oct. 24 routine inspection.
▪ Einstein Bros Bagels, 8600 College Blvd., Overland Park, had eight priority violations during an Oct. 22 follow-up inspection.
▪ KC Garden, 12225 Strang Line Road, Olathe, had eight priority violations during an Oct. 16 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, 1115 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, had seven priority violations during an Oct. 24 follow-up inspection.
▪ Speed Stop, 9801 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., had seven priority violations during an Oct. 19 routine inspection.

The Kansas City Health Department cited these operations for 7 or more critical health code violations:
▪ Avenues Bistro, 338 W. 63rd St., had seven critical violations during an Oct. 20 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during an Oct. 26 follow-up inspection.
▪ The Brooksider Sportsbar & Grill, 6330 Brookside Plaza, had seven critical violations during an Oct. 20 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during an Oct. 26 follow-up inspection.
▪ Harvey’s, Union Station, 30 W. Pershing Road, had seven critical violations during an Oct. 26 routine inspection.
▪ Kokothai, 1513 Grand Blvd., Suite A, in the Crossroads, had seven critical violations during an Oct. 22 routine inspection.
▪ Potpie, 904 Westport Road, had seven critical violations during an Oct. 18 routine inspection.
▪ The Westside Local, 1663 Summit St., had seven critical violations during an Oct. 18 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during an Oct. 26 follow-up inspection.
