Kansas, Kansas City restaurant health inspections for Oct. 10

Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links are not available).

Sushi Uni, 12841 W. 87th St. Parkway, Lenexa, had 15 priority violations during an Oct. 2 follow-up inspection.

Pig & Finch Gastropub, Park Place, 11570 Ash St., Leawood, had 13 priority violations during an Oct. 3 routine inspection.

The Other Place, 16590 W. 135th St., Olathe, had 12 priority violations during an Oct. 3 routine inspection.

Tanner’s Bar & Grill, 22374 W. 66th St., Shawnee, had 12 priority violations during a Sept. 28 follow-up inspection.

Lucky Garden, 32663 W. 83rd St., De Soto, had 11 priority violations during an Oct. 5 follow-up inspection.

Wal-Mart, 13600 Alden St., Olathe, had 10 priority violations during an Oct. 1 routine inspection.

Dari Dine, 101 W. Kump Ave., Bonner Springs, had eight critical violations during an Oct. 3 routine inspection.

Houlihan’s, 4900 W. 119th St., Leawood, had eight priority violations during an Oct. 3 inspection following a complaint.

Shawnee Golf & Country Club, 6404 Hedge Lane Terrace, Shawnee, had eight priority violations during an Oct. 3 routine inspection.

Cronin’s Bar & Grill, 12227 W. 87th St. Parkway, Lenexa, had seven priority violations during a Sept. 28 follow-up inspection.

Johnny Cascone’s Italian Restaurant, 6863 W. 91st St., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during an Oct. 2 inspection following a complaint.

Shop N Go, Valero, 1710 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan., had seven priority violations during a Sept. 28 routine inspection.

The Kansas City Health Department cited these operations for 7 or more critical health code violations:

Abuelo’s, 8541 N.W. Prairie View Road, had nine critical violations during an Oct. 1 routine inspection.

Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1301 Wyandotte St., had eight critical violations during an Oct. 3 routine inspection.

Jerusalem Bakery, 1404 Westport Road, had eight critical violations during an Oct. 3 routine inspection.

Westport Ale House, 4128 Broadway, had eight critical violations during an Oct. 5 routine inspection.

Winstead’s, 6260 N.W. Barry Road, had eight critical violations during a Sept. 17 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a Sept. 24 follow-up inspection.

Anton’s, 1610 Main St., had seven critical violations during a Sept. 29 routine inspection.

Granite City Food & Brewery, 8461 N.W. Prairie View Road, had seven critical violations during an Oct. 2 routine inspection.

KFC, 4700 Troost Ave., had seven critical violations during a Sept. 20 routine inspection. It had three critical violations during a Sept. 27 follow-up inspection and no critical violations during a Sept. 28 follow-up inspection.

Pardo’s Grand Buffet Mexicano, 904 Southwest Blvd., had seven critical violations during a Sept. 22 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during an Oct. 3 follow-up inspection.

Sonic Drive-in, 822 Westport Road, had seven critical violations during an Oct. 5 routine inspection.

Ugly Joe’s, 1227 W. 103rd St., had seven critical violations during a Sept. 11 routine inspection. It had three critical violations during a Sept. 17 follow-up inspection and no critical violations during a Sept. 21 follow-up inspection.
