Another designer outlet at Legends and retail updates for Leawood and Prairie Village

Legends Outlets Kansas City recently signed a Kate Spade outlet. Now it will add the only area Michael Kors Outlet.

It is scheduled to open this summer in a 5,400-square-foot space at 1847 Village West Parkway, Suite K-121, in Kansas City, Kan. It will carry women’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags and small leather goods from the Michael Kors Outlet label. It also will offer watches, eyewear and fragrance for both men and women.

▪ Sportibles, a locally owned shop selling licensed professional and college sports apparel, sports memorabilia and collectibles, also plans to open in the Legends Outlets. It took a 2,895-square-foot space at 1803 Village West Parkway, M-137, for a planned March opening.

▪ Locally owned luxury watchmaker Niall has relocated its flagship store from the Country Club Plaza to Park Place, 5261 W. 116th Place, in Leawood.

▪ Hudson/Hawk Barber & Shop plans to open Wednesday in Corinth Square Shopping Center. The company was founded in Springfield, Mo., in 2013, as a “barber shop for all generations.” It will offer haircuts, straight razor shaves, hot lather neck shaves, aftershave applications, essential oil infused towel treatments, vibrating shoulder massage, waxing and beard grooming.

It also will sell several lines of men’s grooming products. It is taking a space at 8235 Corinth Mall in Prairie Village.

Hudson/Hawk has four locations in Springfield, another in Columbia, and one in Westport.
