Kansas, Kansas City restaurant and movie theater inspections for Jan. 17
Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.
Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links are not available):
▪ AMC Dine-In Studio 28, 12075 S. Strang Line Road, Olathe, had 12 priority violations during a Jan. 10 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Rye restaurant, Mission Farms, 10551 Mission Road, Leawood, had 12 priority violations during a Jan. 9 routine inspection.
▪ Tanner’s Bar & Grill, 10146 W. 119th St., Overland Park, had 13 priority violations during a Jan. 10 routine inspection.
▪ BRGR Kitchen + Bar, 5031 W. 135th St., Leawood, had nine priority violations during a Jan. 8 inspection following a complaint.
▪ Conroy’s Public House, 4730 Rainbow Blvd., Westwood, had nine priority violations during a Jan. 10 routine inspection.
▪ Ingredient, 947 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, had nine priority violations during a Dec. 12 follow-up inspection.
▪ Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, 13386 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, had eight priority violations during a Dec. 13 routine inspection.
▪ Speed Stop, 9801 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., had eight priority violations during a Dec. 19 follow-up inspection.
▪ Sully’s Pub, 5436 Johnson Drive, Mission, had eight priority violations during a Jan. 10 routine inspection.
▪ Final Cut, Hollywood Casino at the Kansas Speedway, 777 Hollywood Casino Blvd., Kansas City, Kan., had seven priority violations during a Jan. 10 routine inspection.
▪ Joy Food, 11920 W. 119th St. Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 14 routine inspection.
▪ Spice N Rice, 6537 W. 119th St., Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Jan. 8 follow-up inspection.

The Kansas City Health Department cited these operations for 7 or more critical health code violations:
▪ Ararat Temple Restaurant, 5100 Ararat Drive, had eight critical violations during a Jan. 4 routine inspection.
▪ EJ’s Urban Eatery, 1414 W. Ninth St., had seven critical violations during a Jan. 4 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a Jan. 9 follow-up inspection.
▪ Red Apple Diner, 211 N.W. Barry Road, had seven critical violations during a Jan. 4 routine inspection. It had two critical violations during a Jan. 9 follow-up inspection and no critical violations during a Jan. 16 follow-up inspection.
