Shatto’s Apple Pie Milk returns for a limited run
Shatto Milk Co. will roll out five special edition flavors again this year.
Some flavors have been offered before, others will be new, but all are based on customer feedback and requests.
Apple Pie Milk was first offered in 2013, during the company’s 10th anniversary celebrations. It will return at the Farmers’ Market in the City Market on Saturday and then hit store shelves on Monday. The Apple Pie Milk will be available for a month, or while supplies last.
In 2013, Shatto also offered such limited-edition flavors as blueberry, chocolate cherry, and cookies-and-cream.
Shatto Milk Co., Osborn, Mo., is a family-owned and operated dairy farm. The family has been farming there for more than 100 years and began a dairy farm more than 60 years ago. In June 2003, they began processing and bottling their own milk under the Shatto Milk Co. brand.
Now they offer a variety of milk flavors and products like fruit punch, tea, lemonade, ice cream, butter, aged cheeses, and cheese curds.
