Kansas restaurant inspections for Dec. 11

Here are area restaurants with 7 or more priority health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for 7 or more priority health code violations (direct links are not available):

▪ Price Chopper, 22350 S. Harrison St., Spring Hill, had 16 priority violations during a Nov. 29 inspection following a complaint.

▪ Encore Cafe, 1007 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, had 15 priority violations during a Nov. 30 routine inspection.

▪ Gert’s Grille, 12018 College Blvd., Overland Park, had 15 priority violations during a Nov. 28 routine inspection.

▪ Hen House Market, 8120 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., had 15 priority violations during a Dec. 6 routine inspection.

▪ El Camino Real, 903 N. Seventh St., Kansas City, Kan., had 14 priority violations during a Nov. 30 routine inspection.

▪ Smokin Joe’s BBQ, 519 E. Santa Fe St., Olathe, had 14 priority violations during a Dec. 5 inspection following a complaint.

▪ Speed Stop, 9801 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kan., had 14 violations during a Dec. 5 first operational inspection after licensing.

▪ Lin’s Chinese Restaurant, 13034 Kansas Ave., Bonner Springs, had 13 priority violations during a Dec. 4 routine inspection.

▪ Barley’s Kitchen + Tap, 16649 Midland Drive, Shawnee, had 10 priority violations during a Dec. 1 follow-up to an administrative order inspection.

▪ The Big Biscuit, 8520 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had 10 priority violations during a Nov. 30 routine inspection.

▪ Wilson’s Pizza & Grill & Grocer, 1801 Quindaro, Kansas City, Kan., had 10 priority violations during a Dec. 4 routine inspection.

▪ Mi Ranchito Cocina and Cantina Mexicana, 7148 W. 80th St., Overland Park, had 9 priority violations during a Dec. 1 follow-up to an administrative order inspection.

▪ The Cheesecake Factory, 6675 W. 119th St., Overland Park, had 8 priority violations during a Nov. 28 follow-up to an administrative order inspection.

▪ Dos Reales Authentic Mexican Restaurant, 6453 Quivira Road, Shawnee, had 8 priority violations during a Nov. 29 follow-up inspection.

▪ In and Out Food Mart, 5940 Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kan., had eight priority violations during a Nov. 27 routine inspection.

▪ Johnny’s Tavern, 10384 S. Ridgeview Road, Olathe, had 8 priority violations during a Dec. 5 routine inspection.

▪ Stroud’s, 8301 W. 135th St., Overland Park, had 8 priority violations during a Nov. 30 follow-up to an administrative order inspection.

▪ Fronteras Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, 175 N. Moonlight Road, Gardner, had seven priority violations during a Nov. 30 follow-up to an administrative order inspection.

▪ Snappy Store, 5903 Merriam Drive, Shawnee, had 7 priority violations during a Nov. 28 routine inspection.
