Longtime Country Club Plaza retailer will close next month, employees say
The Country Club Plaza’s Williams-Sonoma store will be shutting its doors.
Employees of the store, at 4764 Broadway, said it will be closing in mid-to-late January. Plaza officials referred calls to Williams-Sonoma. Williams-Sonoma officials couldn’t be reached for comment.
Williams-Sonoma, which sells gourmet foods, kitchen decor and professional-quality cookware, also has an area store in Leawood’s Town Center Plaza, 5204 W. 119th St.
Zoom, a locally owned toy store, also plans to close its Plaza store in January.
