A turkey and stuffing pizza? You can get it at a Grandview restaurant today
Popular Grandview restaurant Providence Pizza is offering an early Thanksgiving dinner option.
Its 16-inch Thanksgiving pizza is topped with gravy, turkey (slow roasted for 15 to 20 hours), stuffing and mozzarella with a side of cranberry sauce for $25.
Owners Aaron and Luke Salvatore are from Providence, R.I., and had the turkey pizza option in their hometown. Four years after opening Providence Pizza at 12925 U.S. 71, they were ready to roll out their own version.
“On Thanksgiving the flavors complement each other and you are getting everything in one bite with the pizza,” said Luke Salvatore. “And the only thing you don’t get to experience on Thanksgiving is pizza and mozzarella.”
Providence Pizza may offer the Thanksgiving pizza on Black Friday depending on customer demand on Nov. 22.
