Menu debuts: What’s new at IHOP, McDonald’s and The Sundry

▪ IHOP: French Toasted Donuts, classic donuts dipped in sweet vanilla batter and then French toasted in three flavors — apple fritter, strawberries and cream, and bacon and maple.

Cost: $4.99

Available: Through November

▪ McDonald’s: Signature Sriracha sandwich, a new addition to its Signature Crafted Recipes, features a Sriracha Mac sauce, crispy onions, fresh baby spinach and kale, tomato slice and white cheddar cheese.

It is the first time McDonald’s has added kale to a sandwich on its national menu but it is currently available in salads. The sandwiches can be ordered with a choice of beef, buttermilk crispy chicken or artisan grilled chicken on a toasted artisan roll or sesame seed bun.

Cost: $4.99 to $5.19

Available: Starting Aug. 1 for a limited time

The Sriracha Mac sauce also is available as a dipping sauce for fries.

▪ The Sundry, at 1706 Baltimore Ave.: New breakfast includes breakfast sandwich with house-smoked bacon and sriracha mayo, burritos, cheddar biscuit and gravy, and waffles. It is served from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Cost: $7 to $8

Available: Permanent
