Missouri and 10 other states will get their own namesake Budweiser bottles and cans this summer.

Anheuser-Busch is recognizing the states where its Budweiser is brewed by producing specially-packaged Bud bottles and cans through September. They feature the state name, the state initials instead of the center “AB” monogram, the state motto instead of “King of Beers,” and Anheuser-Busch Inc. has been replaced with the state’s nickname.

For Missouri that includes a translation of the state's motto, “Salus Populi Suprema Lex Esto” to “The welfare of the people shall be the supreme law,” and its “the Show-Me State” nickname.

But several area liquor stores said they have not yet received the bottles.
