Kansas restaurant, grocery store, movie theater health inspections for May 18

▪ Here are area restaurants with 7 or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports by city or county health inspectors.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for 7 or more priority health code violations (direct links are not available):

▪ Whole Foods Market, 7401 W. 91st St., Overland Park, had 13 priority violations during a May 8 inspection following a complaint.

▪ Carniceria La Luz, 309 N. Seventh St., Kansas City, Kan., had 12 priority violations during a May 9 inspection for an expired license.

▪ Antojitos del Peru, 7809 Quivira Road, Lenexa, had 11 priority violations during a May 16 routine inspection.

▪ Eggtc, 7182 Renner Road, Shawnee, had 11 priority violations during a May 15 routine inspection.

▪ Barley’s Kitchen + Tap, 16649 Midland Drive, Shawnee, had 9 priority violations during a May 9 inspection following a complaint.

▪ Winstead’s, 12056 W. 95th St., Lenexa, had 9 priority violations during a May 9 routine inspection.

▪ Wok N Roll Express, 7000 W. 83rd St., Overland Park, had 9 priority violations during a May 11 inspection for an expired license.

▪ Mama Lilly’s, 5512 Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kan., had 8 priority violations during a May 9 follow-up inspection.

▪ The Pour House Bar & Grill, 7405 Nieman Road, Shawnee, had 8 priority violations during a May 11 inspection for an expired license.

▪ Taco Via, 15159 W. 119th St., Olathe, had 8 priority violations during a May 10 inspection for an expired license.

▪ AMC Dine-In Studio 28, 12075 S. Strang Line Road, Olathe, had 7 priority violations during a May 10 routine inspection.

▪ Big Grill & More, 501 N. Sixth St., Kansas City, Kan., had 7 priority violations during a May 11 routine inspection.

▪ Paulo & Bill Italian American Bistro, 16501 Midland Drive, Shawnee, had 7 priority violations during a May 9 follow-up inspection.

▪ Pig & Finch Gastropub, Park Place, 11570 Ash St., Leawood, had 7 priority violations during a May 10 inspection following a complaint.
