We’re compiling a list of area restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner (call for reservations), as well as operations offering Thanksgiving dinners to take home.

We’ll continually update this list, so send information in this format (restaurant name, address, menu items, hours, cost, contact info) to jsmith@kcstar.com under the subject line: Thanksgiving Dinner.

▪ Affäre, 1911 Main St.: Roasted sage-rubbed Amish turkey, pork-apple-pretzel stuffing with velvet cream sauce, Brussels sprouts, red cabbage, Macaire potatoes and more. It also will offer other entree options.

It also will offer to-go turkey dinners. Orders must be place by Nov. 21 and pre-paid with pick up after 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 23.

▪ BC Bistro, 7749 N.W. Prairie View Road: Featuring turkey, ham, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, corn, sweet potatoes, fresh baked rolls and cranberry sauce.

It also will have a Dessert Bar with pumpkin streusel cheesecake, pecan cheesecake, cinnamon bread pudding and apple cobbler, and will offer take-out Thanksgiving dinners, as well as whole pecan cheesecake or pumpkin streusel cheesecakes to-go.

▪ Benton’s, The Westin Crown Center, 1 East Pershing Road: Benton’s will reopen to the public for a Thanksgiving dinner including as butternut squash bisque, apple and goat cheese salad, house-smoked Kurzweils’ turkey with caramelized onion gravy and sausage, fennel and mushroom stuffing, roasted strip loin with wild mushroom jus, and a dessert buffet with such items as pumpkin pie, carrot cake, apple pie, bourbon pecan pie, assorted petite pastries and cherry cobbler. Includes one glass of Magnolia Grove California Cabernet Sauvignon or Chardonnay, and complimentary parking.

The second special for a more traditional Thanksgiving meal is rosemary brined turkey breast with candied pecan sweet potatoes, French beans, wild flower honey cranberry sauce and pan gravy.
