Wyoming authorities chase, arrest Missouri fugitive
CASPER, Wyo. (AP) – Wyoming authorities say they have arrested a fugitive from Missouri after shooting at and ramming the man’s vehicle as it traveled the wrong direction on the highway.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports that authorities say a Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper fired on the car and three law enforcement vehicles rammed it during a high-speed chase on Interstate 25 on Wednesday.
Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation Director Steve Woodson says a female passenger in the vehicle was shot in the leg and has been treated for non-life-threatening injuries. He says the male driver was treated for minor injuries and taken into custody. He is wanted on a parole violation in Missouri.
A trooper and his K-9 partner were hurt while ramming the vehicle and are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
