Images from #Icantbreathe protests in Berkeley for Eric Garner, Ferguson

A grand jury announced Dec. 3 that it would not indict officer Daniel Pantaleo in the death of Eric Garner, leading to many protests in major U.S. cities that are continuing tonight.

The rallying cry for the protests has been the hashtag #Icantbreathe, Garner’s last words. The protests have also spread to London and Paris, as evidenced on Twitter.

Michael Brown, who was unarmed when he was shot and killed by officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, is also a prominent rallying point at the protests. A grand jury also did not indict Wilson.
