Two children and two adults were rescued from a fire overnight in Olathe.

The four individuals were taken by ladder from a three story apartment after a fire broke out at about 4 a.m. Sunday, according to the Olathe Fire Department. No one was injured.

The blaze, which happened at Millbrooke Apartments, near East Cedar and South Water streets, left one couple displaced and caused moderate damage to the building, fire officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
