Maker City KC calendar March 19-25: streaming events, webinars, podcasts and web-based events for entrepreneurs and makers
Every week we bring you a great list of events related to the maker and entrepreneur community. Now, as we all deal with the Corona Virus we have changed our event calendar to highlight streaming events, webinars, podcasts and web-based events. Here are our calendar picks for this week — you can see even more on our Facebook page.
Now through March 31
Facebook event page info: Sofa King Fest is an emergency response online music and arts festival and directory aimed to minimize your COVID-19 quarantine boredom, while providing a platform to raise money for artists, crew, and music industry professionals affected by this pandemic.
Sofa King Fest is your one-stop source for all your couch streaming concert options. Think festival grid meets TV Guide. Artists everywhere are stuck at home too, afterall. Many of our favorite musicians will be live streaming intimate performances to support themselves, their band and crew members after industry-wide cancellations.

We will dive into topics like mental health/self-care, diversifying your company and appropriate social media messaging with our expert panelists Brandon Love of Crumble Co., Brittany Bly of Pop Shop America, and Emily Farris of Caption Camp with Emily Farris. We will go live on our Craft Show Success FB Page at noon each day (3/18, 3/19, and 3/20). Join us!
