Raised garden bed: Will this work?

Hello! So I need some guidance. This year my spouse and I would like to build a small raised bed on the side of our house for herbs and possibly a vegetable or two. The side of the house that we would like to build it on is full sun. The only downside is that our space is fairly limited. There is around 3.75 feet (starting from the neighbor's driveway) and is around 12 feet in length. We were thinking that the raised bed would be no more than 2.5 feet by 10 feet.

Attached is a picture so you have a better idea. We also plan on pulling up the stones. Our house is older (circa 1920's) and our foundation is stone.

Considering it's such a small amount of space, I'm not anticipating huge amounts of excess water.

With all of that said, I have some questions:1. Is a raised bed doable?2. Would this impact the foundation?
