Starbucks introduces six new frappuccino flavors
If you thought Starbucks’ new S’mores Frappuccino was a home run, brace yourself: There’s more where that came from.
The coffee company announced six new flavors to their frappuccino menu Monday, inspired by customers’ favorite combinations.
The new flavors will include Caramel Cocoa Cluster, Cinnamon Roll, Cotton Candy, Cupcake, Lemon Bar and Red Velvet Cake.
But beware — the flavors won’t last forever. The six new concoctions are part of a fan contest where customers will vote for their favorite flavor. The beverage with the most votes will be announced July 3rd, and will be available at a discounted price July 3-6.
“Over the years we have seen many creative recipes from our customers, and the six Fan Flavor Frappuccino beverages...represent a few of the most popular recipes,” Renee Jones, marketing director of Starbucks, said in a release.
Here’s a more detailed look at the flavors:
The Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino is a “blend of toffee nut syrup, Frappuccino Roast Coffee, mile, and ice topped with a layer of dark caramel sauce,” mocha sauce and whipped cream.
The Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino includes cinnamon dolce syrup, Frappuccino Roast Coffee, milk, ice, white chocolate mocha sauce, and vanilla bean. It’s topped with whipped cream and cinnamon dolce topping.
Maybe the sweetest of them all, the Cotton Candy Frappuccino blends vanilla bean, raspberry syrup, milk and ice.
Starbucks’ new Cupcake Frappuccino mixes vanilla bean, hazelnut syrup, milk and ice for another sugary-sweet concoction.
The Lemon Bar Frappuccino includes lemonade, vanilla syrup, milk and ice. It’s topped with whipped cream and caramel sugar.
Rounding out the list is the Red Velvet Cake Frappuccino, which blends mocha sauce, raspberry syrup, vanilla syrup, milk, ice and frappuccino chips. It’s also topped with whipped cream.
Voting for the flavors begins June 19 and ends June 30.
