It was only a matter of time. Chick-fil-A has joined the list of fast food chains introducing unique breakfast items to their menus, testing a number of new items in select areas.

The most exciting meal on the list? A chicken and waffle dish.

The boneless chicken breast is “hand-breaded, pressure cooked in 100 percent refined peanut oil and served alongside a warm Belgian-style waffle with a unique caramelized sugar crunch.”

One twist: The waffle is baked with maple syrup inside, so no syrup is required. Instead, Chick-fil-A recommends their Buffalo sauce or honey.

Other items being tested include cinnamon swirls, an egg white chicken grill, multi-grain oatmeal, a Greek yogurt parfait and a maple waffle.

So far the breakfast items being tested are only available at locations in Georgia, California, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

A more indulgent meal, the chicken and waffle packs 440 calories and 21 grams of fat, with the cinnamon swirls, maple waffle and egg white chicken grill close behind at around 300 calories.

The items are only available for a limited time, so get em’ while they’re hot (if you can).
