For less than $25, replace frayed, frumpy textiles for a bright, bold beginning
Nothing says dingy like tattered drapes, moldy shower curtains and faded throw pillows.
Now that you’ve decluttered and organized your home for the new year, it’s time to focus on freshening it up. One way to do that is to carefully assess your textiles and decide whether they need to be washed, repaired or replaced.
Crisp, clean curtains, pillows, table linens and dish towels go a long way toward perking up a room. So can new ones in bold colors and graphics. And the good news is that you don’t have to break the bank.
We found a large selection of textiles under $25 at Ikea, Tuesday Morning and the New Dime Store. Target, Pier One Imports, World Market and Home Goods are also great sources for inexpensive yet stylish textiles.
