Lego sculptures on display through Sept. 7 at Powell Gardens
Nature Connects 2, an exhibit featuring 27 sculptures inspired by nature and built from more than 300,000 Lego bricks, has sprung up in Powell Gardens.
Ranging from 6 inches to 6 feet, the sculptures include a bald eagle, a giant monarch butterfly on milkweed, and birds taking on squirrels at a bird feeder.
he exhibit will be open through Sept. 7 during regular garden hours and will include a hands-on Lego building station and design competitions, storytelling and Paul Mesner Puppets performances.
