Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City plans tour of organic farm

Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City will offer free tours at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 21 at Gibbs Road Community Farm. The certified organic vegetable farm is on two acres at 4223 Gibbs Road in Kansas City, Kan. It serves as Cultivate Kansas City’s model and demonstration farm, and it experiments with high tunnels, raised beds and no-till production.
