Some of Kansas City’s highest rated restaurants in June feature Italian cuisine, Austrian food, Middle Eastern specialties and more, according to restaurant review site Yelp.

Here are the five most popular restaurants this month, according to Yelp:

The Antler Room

Where: 2506 Holmes St.

Yelp rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

What the Yelp reviews say: “This place rocks my socks off,” said Rie U of Kansas City. They said that the cocktails are “equally magical,” and that the seasonal spritz is their go-to drink.

Jim H. said the restaurant is worth the dining experience and that they have a nice open kitchen.

Bacaro Primo

What the Yelp reviews say: When Jessie B was sent to Bacaro Primo, they were told the place had the “the best chicken parm in KC.” They now agree with that statement.

“This is probably one of my favorite Italian restaurants in KC and the service was outstanding. Definitely will be back,” said Sunyoung C. of Kansas City, Kansas.

Grünauer

What the Yelp reviews say: “You don’t often find Austrian restaurants like this that aren’t just beer gardens. This elevated, but not pretentious, schnitzel house gave me an amazing surprise dinner during my road trip recently to Kansas City,” said Chris A.

Robert F. of Shawnee said the food is delicious, though the establishment loses one star for being on the expensive side. “ Though it is a fairly good value, it is not a GREAT value,” he wrote in his review.

Novel Restaurant

Maggie C. said this is her favorite Kansas City restaurant. She got the dip platter, kabob platter, and their short rib special. “Everything was fresh, delicious, and I loved the smoke flavor on the meats,” she said.
