Here are 18 restaurants open on Thanksgiving 2024 in the Kansas City area
From all-you-can-eat buffets to international specialties, you can find a delicious meal away from home in the Kansas City area on Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving Day is Thursday, Nov. 28, and restaurants are preparing all over the area, from Lee’s Summit to Overland Park, Gladstone to the Plaza.
You’ll find a scrumptious meal no matter what you’re looking for: fine dining takes on turkey and pumpkin pie, classic buffets with all the fixings, or global flavors from China, Brazil, Japan and Italy.
In addition to local eateries, some chain restaurants will also be open on Thanksgiving, like Cracker Barrel, Denny’s, Waffle House and Golden Corral. Hours vary by location, so call ahead to make sure your favorite spot is open.
