Golden Retrievers Heard a Wrapper and Came Running-but There's One Problem
Nothing makes a dog head for the kitchen faster than the sound of a wrapper being opened. It's like they have a sixth sense when it comes to what their pawrents are doing in there, and no matter what, it's always worth investigating. For my pups, the minute my feet hit the floor, they assume it's snack time, every single time.
Chase and Chester are two of the cutest Golden Retrievers on the planet. They do everything as a pair, including rushing to the kitchen whenever they hear the unmistakable crinkle of plastic packaging. Unfortunately, their efforts were wasted when they arrived to find out Mom was not, in fact, opening a package of cheese.

Their mom was doing a little tidying up in the kitchen after receiving her Mother's Day gifts. As she crinkled the cellophane wrapping from around her beautiful flower bouquets, the Golden duo appeared out of nowhere.
As you'll see in the TikTok video, both dogs have the perfect "we heard the cheese wrapper" look on their faces. They are absolutely convinced it's treat time. It's clear they don't quite understand when Mom tells them, "You guys, it's just from all the bouquets."

I mean, if it makes that sound and it's happening in the kitchen, then it must be a snack-at least according to Chase and Chester.

Dogs everywhere are committed to collecting their cheese tax, and when they look this cute, it's nearly impossible to say no.
Many of Chase and Chester's fans couldn't help but laugh at their reaction to the crinkling sound. One TikToker wrote, "They are so cute! Synchronized Goldies!!" while another commented, "Any crinkle sends them flocking!!"
A fellow dog mom could definitely relate, sharing, "Crazy as it sounds, mine do this for pills They get wrapped in ham, turkey, or cheese, so the pill bottle rattle has my crew in the kitchen instantly!"
Honestly, if your dogs come running every time they hear a wrapper, Chase and Chester's hopeful faces are probably all too familiar.
