Graduates, send us photos of your mortar boards

Nothing quite says “I’m so happy to be graduating” like bejeweled, painted, glittered-up or otherwise fancied-up mortar boards.

And we want to see them.

Gone are the days when a simple message of “Thanks, Mom and Dad” in masking tape would suffice. Graduates get more creative each year. Have you seen the elaborate 3-D constructions some grads wear on their heads?

What will the Class of 2015 come up with?

Send us photos of you or your favorite Kansas City-area graduates and their decorated mortar boards. Tell us how these creations were made. And please include names, city and a daytime phone number in case we need to reach you.
