Send us photos of summer’s bounty
Do you have tomatoes by the ton? Peppers by the peck? Cucumbers in the kajillions?
If it’s summer, it’s time for The Star’s callout for “I Grew This!” pictures. Ask someone to take a photo of you with one thing you’ve grown this summer — a vegetable, fruit or flower. (If a photographer isn’t available, snap a veggie selfie!)
Then upload the picture you took to Mingle.KansasCity.com. In the caption field, describe the item you grew and challenges or tips for others.
No more than three submissions per person, please, so pick a vegetable or flower that deserves the attention (really big, oddly shaped or unique for another reason). Remember, we want you in the picture, too.
Get going! The deadline is Wednesday.
