The best of fall’s First Friday street fashion

The leaves are a changin’ and so are the wardrobes. Summer may have the monopoly on fun, but it takes a backseat to the fall when it comes to style.

So to bring in the new season, The Star staked out October’s First Friday to check out a host of the city’s fall style debuts. There were a lot of commonalities (“cozy” and “comfortable” were two words that kept recurring). But in true Kansas City fashion, all the people we talked to had their own personal flourish to really make their style pop and come together.

Fall together, if you will.
