Motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries in wreck on Grandview Road

A motorcyclist lost control of his bike and struck a guardrail in south Kansas City, suffering life-threatening injuries, police said.

The motorcyle was heading northbound on Grandview Road and crossing the bridge over Interstate 435 around 2:05 p.m. Saturday when the rider apparently lost control. No other vehicles were involved.
