Tornado confirmed near Trenton, Mo.

A tornado was confirmed at 8:05 p.m. six miles west of Gilman City, Mo., in Harrison County, the National Weather Service reported.

A storm system with quarter-sized hail traveling east at 40 mph. There were no immediate damage reports.

Kansas City is under a tornado watch until 1 a.m.
