Motorcyclist dies in crash with fire truck
A 24-year-old Agency, Mo., woman died Monday evening when the motorcycle she was driving collided with a firetruck.
Jennifer R. Boyer died after being thrown from the 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle she was riding, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol crash report.
The crash occurred about 8:45 p.m. in Agency, about 45 miles north of Kansas City. Boyer was headed north when she attempted to make a right hand curve, according to the report.
She crossed the center line and collided with the southbound firetruck. Boyer was thrown from the motorcycle and landed in the northbound lane, according to the report.
Her motorcycle was trapped under the fire truck, which traveled off the left side of the road and struck a ditch.
