One person hospitalized after KC house fire

Authorities took one person to a hospital after a house fire on Kansas City’s East Side.

Firefighters responded at about 8:30 p.m. to a fire in the 3000 block of Bales Avenue. Medical personnel took one person to Research Medical Center. The fire was still being investigated Sunday night.
